ESOE Delivery Charge Change

By Spencer Yarnell Head of Spreading the Herd Word

It’s the holiday season. Time for egg nog, parties, mistletoe and a double Electronic Statement Of Earnings (ESOE) delivery charge? Shouting and chaos ensues!

Now before unruly payroll panic sets in let’s explain: traditionally the ESOE delivery charges from any given pay run are charged on the next pay run. Basically this means on any given pay run you are paying the ESOE delivery charge from the last payroll processing. Now here at IBEX we figured it would be simpler for everyone if we just charged you for the current pay run’s ESOE fees so we did just that. However in order to implement this change there has to be a pay run where both the previous and current pay run ESOE fees are simultaneously charged in order to ‘catch up’ the payments. Since this change was implemented over the weekend your next pay run immediately following this weekend will show this double charge for ESOE delivery fees. Don’t worry though, we’re just getting your fees up to date!

Thanks for your understanding and cheers!

IBEX Payroll extends our profound respect and immeasurable gratitude to all the ancestors and keepers of the land on whose traditional territories our work takes place. We acknowledge that we are on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional gathering place of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene people and the traditional homeland of the Métis people. This land is sacred, historical, and significant.

Every time we acknowledge this truth, we have an invitation and an opportunity to reflect on the wrongs of the past, what we do in the present, and what we can do to continually honour the people whose lands and water we benefit from today.

This statement only acts as a first step in honouring the land we reside on and its peoples, and must be paired with education, understanding and informed action.
